to be clear - the way it works rn is u click a price level and the share quantity loads as dollar amount

I thought as a user you could also want to buy at that price but with your input quantity. E.g I put 1000$ order and click on price level, it switches to market stays at 1000$

if ur on market and click a price level the panel switches to limit with your limit price being the level u clicked and your quantity being the sum of all shares up to and inclusive of that price level, nothing else makes sense

Yes I perhaps got confused on the feedback. The shares amount should be the max you can get at that limit price based on your balance

if its only if the share qty*price up to that price level exceeds ur balance (i feel like a retard having to say this but u never know) - sure, but thats a double-edged sword
if the way it works rn is not able to send order due to low balance, maybe u should keep it that way - would stop someone from nuking their whole portfolio in a single click
and what the user gotta do rn is click Max to adjust his limit to match his balance so thats sort of a protection

my main issue is click level doesn't always force switch from market to limit bug, this is very dangerous - outside of that idc
