I have some questions regarding LP rewards. New wallet. Resting two-sided limit orders, ≥ min size, within max spread of the mid, on a market with `isRewardable: true`. Website GUI also flags them as reward-eligible. Ultimately nothing paid at 22:30 UTC settlement.
- `clob[].orders.liveOrders[].isEarning: true` while `clob[].rewards.isEarning: false`. Same orders, opposite values. What's the difference?
- `todaysRewards`, `totalUnpaidRewards`, `rewardsByEpoch`, `points` all stay 0/empty. Are these fields supposed to reflect LP rewards, maker rebates, or both?
- Should Unpaid Rewards tick up during the day?
- Does LP rewards require some minimum trading volume? I have a new wallet/account.

LP Rewards are paid for resting limit orders within spread of mid, with a min size requirement, on eligible markets. No fills needed. Calculated every minute, paid daily at 22:30 UTC. That settlement you're watching is this one.
Maker Rebates are only paid on orders that actually get filled (funded by taker fees, settled per UTC day). Resting-but-unfilled orders earn 0 here by design.
On your specific questions:
order isEarning: true vs rewards.isEarning: false, how I understand it, these measure different things. The order-level flag (and the GUI badge) looks like it just means the order passes the basic filter: within spread, min size, rewardable market. The account-level rewards.isEarning seems to track whether you're actually accruing under the per-minute scoring. So passing the per-order check likely isn't the same as actively earning, and that is probably why nothing paid out. I will confirm this.
todaysRewards / totalUnpaidRewards / rewardsByEpoch / points - points is the separate Points program, not USDC. The reward fields (anything "epoch") should map to LP Rewards as best as I can tell, I don't see anything about it in the docs.
Should Unpaid Rewards tick up during the day? - Yes, if you're earning it should climb minute-by-minute and settle at 22:30. Sitting at 0 all day fits with
rewards.isEarning: false — nothing accruing, so nothing pays. Basically your signals line up that you weren't in the earning state, and the per-order badge is the misleading one.
Min volume / new wallet? - no minimum volume, account age, or anything like that for LP rewards, so a new wallet is totally fine. (Keep in mind maker rebates need fills, so a new wallet with just resting orders earns 0 rebates, but that's the other program.)
My best guesses on why you didn't earn rewards
- Mid drift on fast (5/15-min) markets, "within max spread of mid" gets rechecked every minute, so orders can fall out of band at the sample points even if they looked eligible when placed
- Odds outside the 5–95% band (one-sided liquidity only earns in that range)
- That market's live reward budget being 0 even though isRewardable: true (that flag seems to be static)
