So does the buy volume only count if it has already been settled? Because after checking, I found that positions I bought but haven't sold yet weren't counted either

You do not have to wait for the event to settle. Your buy volume is counted regardless of whether you are still holding the position or if the event is open. If your open positions are missing from your stats, it is strictly due to one of these rules: - The leaderboard does not refresh in real-time, it updates once every hour. Your newly bought positions will not show up until the next hourly refresh. - Only trades from events under the "World Cup" category on eMeme qualify. If you bought an event token from any other category, it won't be counted. - Only trading volume generated after successful registration will count toward eligible volume.
