I don’t know if folks have brought this up or this have been suspected or proven or I don’t even know how to prove it with fact l but after being on Kalshi platform and betting for millions of volume already, and thankfully I’m still up…. But I have now come to the conclusion and suspect that not only am I betting against or with fellow bettors but maybe even Kalshi itself and its bots. Think about it Kalshi has a game team a and team b. Let’s say realistically and statistically team A has 50% to win and Team B has 50% to win. But Kalshi show 80% team A to win and team B 20% to win. Why do we trust the % so much on Kalshi. I think majority of people trust the % shown by Kalshi when it can easily be manipulated by the system itself to get you to bet a certain way or get out of the bet. Another example. Let’s say I place a contract bet 50% for the game to tie. Now it’s close to game end and it’s still tie and now it’s 90%. You would think I would be up my money. Before the game ends, I probably want to exit to guarantee my win… but some cases I can’t get out because I would get out with a loss even though I am up 40% but in terms of monetary I am at a loss? Maybe the system purposely don’t let me exit with the gain so I still have my bet because the system knows the game will not end in a tie thus I’ll lose my whole money. Lose my whole money to who? Maybe the other side who might even be the Kalshi bots better the other side using their stastically analysis. If I still win, Kalshi wins since it takes a cut anyways. But if I lose, Kalshi definately win if it is really true that Kalshi itself have the other side placing bets… Again can’t really prove but I have been very suspected when I’m up so much in terms of percentage yet when I try to cash out, I would cash out as a loss…
