So is it right to say you're trading the perp based on your opinion of both market cap and how many shares they have? E.g. if you thought you had alpha market cap would reach $10T on opening day, but also that they'd split shares 100000000/1 (stupid example) you'd go short bc price per share would be tiny even though market cap high? I think it's fine - you're trading the market you're trading. But what's the argument for that design being preferable to e.g. Ventuals approach? Is it helped by the fact that oracle isn't backed by actual share price, and so it wouldn't gap down in such situation - instead market would smooth down to new price?
