I just tried to fill the big 700,000 share order, and it disappeared. It was 100% a ghost order. Zero shares were filled from it.

I dont think so. He just thinks that no one will take his order. His orders are usually around 5% from Market price, and they get moved whenever market price moves. Its a smart strategy, unless there is a smart and wealthy counterparty.
