I agree that if the market said "for military operations", one can reasonably infer that the secondary role of troops to assist overseas partners isn't sufficient, and that only adversarial actions of the military should count.

The market doesn't require military entry, unlike other markets that have. So a clarification on any market that required military operations is immaterial to one that doesn't have that rule

Let's say you're right: markets should still resolve based on the letter of their rules, barring obvious typos, because it incentivizes Polymarket as a platform to get better at writing rules. The market resolving "No" would be a misresolve, since the rules, as written, have been satisfied.
