There is a possibility that it happened. Therefore, it is advisable to include the relevant link along with as many details as possible. This will help the team clearly understand the issue and identify exactly what needs to be clarified. Once the clarification is done, it cannot be reversed. For the Canada vs Norway game, were you holding Loser SF 2? If so, you should be able to redeem those shares. In case you were holding Loser SF 1, you will receive a refund. They have a clarification request format available on their website. You may consider following a similar approach in the future whenever any sports event encounters issues, ensuring that you include all relevant links and detailed information in this channel and tag team members.

Yeah, instead of making corrections, they chose to close it by resolving it in favor of one side, which was cheap, and refund the other side citing a display issue, which in fact did exist in the second clarification. Loser SF 1 = Norway Loser SF 2 = Canada This is what you initially assumed when buying. However, when the titles were updated, it became: Loser SF 1 = Canada Loser SF 2 = Norway which was the opposite of the actual result. As someone mentioned earlier that there was no need to make changes after fixing the display error, that is incorrect. There was indeed an issue because the names and their positions were swapped. You can see that the price for Norway dropped from 88c to 12c after the title was updated. Would it have been fair to continue the market under those conditions Considering people bought Loser SF 2 expecting it to be Canada, but after the update, they effectively got Norway, and their shares dropped from around 88c to 12c. That is why they resolved it to Norway ( which people bought thinking they're buying Canada ).

But I don't think they can reverse the decision now since the markets have already settled.

I also understand that you're saying Switzerland/Norway vs Canada/Finland one, which is being refunded, did not have any issue but was clarified.

What’s done is done but as you said let’s wait for the team’s clarification. I was wondering which market you were referring to. The two markets that had issues have been clarified and will be refunded and redeemed for one side. Yes, you can argue that it’s unfair to provide 100c to one side and a refund to the other but that is how it works.

If you notice the transaction time between the clarification and their buys its around 17 minutes. The orderbook was cleared but people did not notice that the market got clarified.

Since you did not have auto-redeem turned on at the time of settlement, you have to wait until the team unarchives it. The Norway/Canada game is settled. Loser SF 1 = Refund, Loser SF 2 = 100% claim. Loser SF 1 = Canada. Loser SF 2 = Norway.

It got proposed and settled as well. If you had any shares for LOSER SF 2 you'll be able to claim your whole amount.

As far as I can see here you had Loser SF 2 which was updated to Norway later after the update. Loser SF 2 = Norway. This market resolved 100c for Norway. If you had any shares on Loser SF 2 you should be able to claim 100c for your shares, not refund. It settled 4 hours ago.

This happens in maybe 1–2 matches at most in a month, right? Maybe 3–4 at worst. But it creates problems for hundreds of soccer markets that are played daily.

This rule was basically introduced because some matches were getting affected or changed at the last moment due to crowd issues, pitch invasions or other match-day problems, even when one team already had a huge edge. Maybe it was also because of the mass P4 dispute. However, it is now creating unnecessary penalties for random proposers and delaying payouts without any real benefit. Better rules can definitely be written to avoid such situations. Whatever happens in the game should be settled clearly based on the final official result or reliable reporting within a reasonable time. The current wording is making things more complicated. I also support reverting or simplifying this rule. Maybe there can be a rule that a game should not be proposed until it is officially finished with no drama or dispute-type situation pending. Two hours is too much on a market with $50M in volume. Imagine holding funds for 2.5 hours on a halftime market which can easily be settled within 30 minutes after halftime is finished. Many of them sold their halftime 99.9c worth shares at like 99 just because the markts cannot get settled at time.
