To be fair, vibe coding does not necessarily mean not understanding what the AI does. Ideally he does know what he wants and why and if he can specify it well enough, think through the logic and avoid pitfalls, then there is a chance he might succeed. But probably the chance is pretty low as these are already very competitive markets and if you are not a genius it takes a lot of time and effort to reach the necessary level.
