The $500 is an estimate, since it will be split proportionally based on XP. So, it is a good indicator, but not guaranteed. The main prize pool, 80% goes to the top 1000 participants proportionally by total XP. The other 20% is a random draw split among 100 participants that have earned at least 500 XP. Both are dependent on the total XP for the whole campaign. The weekly challenges are the only weekly distributions. it would make sense to keep it in tiers to maintain fairness, cause otherwise rich ppl could just get a ton of xp and take most of the money
