The liquidity on the Community Markets is really poor. Why was the LP reward reduced to just $1? It seems like it would make more sense to remove the rebate and keep the LP rewards attractive instead. Without sufficient liquidity, these markets don't really serve much purpose.

Removing the fee for creating markets is a great initiative. However, it could end up having the opposite effect. If market creators see that their markets generate zero volume, what incentive will they have to keep creating markets once there’s a fee again?

I'll forward on your feedback. The LP was reduced because someone was attempting to abuse the LP rewards on these markets. One of the big ideas is that someone who creates the market can now go and promote their market and earn fees based on how effective they are at attracting traders. This is a new category and you can expect tweaks and improvements as we go along.
