Why has liquidity been so poor lately, especially on the financial markets? It's currently peak trading hours, yet almost every market has YES bids at 99.9 and NO bids at 99.9. Crypto is slightly better, but it's a very similar situation there as well.

it's a more broader infra problem too - past few hours i have 99th percentile latency at ~ 1400ms, so it's pretty easy to get picked off by people doing high freq stuff

there's not really any economic benefit that these traders provide, and at the end of the day it does harm liquidity, which harms (retail/casual) user experience
