I love how my agent that parses CLOB updates anouncements page labeled statement about "No downtime is expected and trading should continue as normal" as "highly unreliable based on history" and still configured systemd shedule to turn the scripts off

Btw for the maintenance we didn't expect it to affect core trading and should have been a fast rolling deploy. We just put the window up anyway to be extra safe so everyone is in the loop, and we use the status page for those. For maintenances where there will be downtime we announce it on more channels and try to give more notice. But appreciate any feedback on this process as well 🙏

Suggestion: it would be very helpful if Polymarket exposed a system status endpoint for scheduled maintenance.
Ideally, the API could report a maintenance or maintenance_pending status around 2 minutes before maintenance begins, and switch back to operational once maintenance is completed.
This would allow automated trading systems to safely stop before maintenance and automatically resume afterward, reducing failed requests, unexpected order behavior, and the need for manual monitoring.
