I haven’t been able to trade sports markets for about three months because of the restriction for German residents. Has anyone here heard anything about whether this restriction might be lifted, or experienced a similar restriction that was later removed? I’ve already contacted support, but they couldn’t provide an estimated timeline.

I understand your point, but I’m not asking whether sports trading is good for me. I’m only trying to find out whether people think the restriction for German users could eventually be removed.
I was a very active customer with around a $100k balance and millions in trading volume, including many smaller leagues, so losing access to all sports markets was a major change for me. I genuinely enjoyed using the platform and just want to know whether anyone has seen similar regional restrictions get lifted before.

Haha, I wish it were that easy. Moving countries just to access sports markets isn’t really realistic for me. I’m mainly trying to understand whether the Germany restriction might be temporary or whether anyone has seen similar restrictions get lifted before.

That AI overview seems misleading. Kalshi itself is not fully blocked for German users—I can still deposit, withdraw and trade non-sports markets. Only sports markets are restricted for German residents. Germany also isn’t listed as a generally prohibited jurisdiction in the Member Agreement, so this appears to be a sports-specific restriction rather than a complete German ban. That’s why I’m trying to understand whether it could be temporary.

Yeah, it definitely seems misleading. Kalshi still works for me in Germany — only sports markets are restricted.
