Under normal constitutional rules, his second term is scheduled to end in May 2027, making a "Yes" outcome dependent on extraordinary legal or constitutional events, such as the invocation of emergency powers (Article 16) or a postponement of the presidential election. -Proposed Resolution Criteria This market will resolve to "Yes" if, at 11:59 PM UTC on June 31, 2027, Emmanuel Macron officially holds the office of President of the French Republic. If he is no longer the President (due to the inauguration of a successor, resignation, or any other reason), the market will resolve to "No". -Resolution source Official government publications from the French Republic, specifically the Journal Officiel de la République Française (legifrance.gouv.fr) and official statements from the Elysée or the Conseil Constitutionnel.
