TACO Tuesday? This market will resolve to Yes if Trump extends the Hormuz deadline or in any other way publicly announces postponing military action or fails to carry one out. This market will resolve to No if Trump orders and US carries out a kinetic, electromagnetic or cyber attack targeting Iran's energy, military or other infrastructure. Invasion or raid would also count as No for this market as well as any kind of nuclear weapon detonation. This market finishes at Tuesday, April 7, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. If some other third thing happens that doesn't fit either of the definitions this market will split 50:50. TACO Tuesday This market will resolve to "Yes" if by April 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET, Trump publicly announces an extension of Hormuz deadline or postponement of announced military action against the Islamic Republic of Iran. This market will resolve to "No" if, prior to the deadline, Trump orders, and the U.S. military or intelligence services execute a kinetic, electromagnetic, or a cyber attack directly targeting Iran’s energy, military, government or other infrastructure. An invasion or US troops entering Iranian soil would also count towards No resolution. Boat raids or confiscations, Israeli actions would not count towards No. If an event occurs that does not clearly meet the definitions of "Yes" or "No"— such as a conflict involving U.S. forces and Iranian proxies in a third-party country without a direct strike on Iranian territory or infrastructure, or neither public postponing or military action, this market will split 50:50. If both Yes and No conditions are satisfied - such as Trump declaring an exstension and Football world cup host 2038 (gonna be decided 1 year from now)
