I've been reworking the websocket pool of my bot . I get an average lifespan of ~4 hours before a disconnect. Does that seem expected?

Looking at the code I'm guessing it recycles websockets periodically to make sure theyre fresh.

I'm getting a market via the api that doesnt have a condition id (event kraken-ipo-by-december-31-2026-513). When I look at it via the webpage its a 404.

Is there a particular reason why the /markets/id endpoint does not encode the clob token ids as a proper list, but rather a string?

Oh right, I'm also looking at the top of book, so I'm not going below the top ask tick. Maybe I can try that out.

I had a lot more before, but I also had a lot more failed attempts. Once I tightened that up it dropped off a cliff. So perhaps that's the expected behavior?

hrm, then my filters are probably too tight for MM. For negarb I found exactly 1 in the last 24 hours or so, so that's probably not too good. Time to let caude and codex eat tokens as if theyre free I guess.

I swear google is fucking with me. I run a sweep of all regions to do a latency test and geoblock test. Region comes out as the best, I deploy my VM, and then it turns out to be geoblocked

Okay, i swear I'm not an idiot, but I'm confused with the polymarket team role users. When I signed up to this discord, i got the expected stream of fake friend invites. But, I also got a dm (and chatted) with user id 624575779023355904, which has the role "Polymarket Team". So that looked safe. But now, in my DMs that chat has a different user id. Is this a weird bug in discord, or what the heck am i missing? When I click the user in the right bar here, I go into a different DM chat, and dont see roles on that user. So I'm super confused 🙂

I use these three scripts to figure out which region has the lowest latency. Theyre vibed, so dont expect much support from my end :p

I have sharding in, and now each shard will subscribe to 4k asset ids. but maybe I can go lower on the assets/shard, and have more shards. not sure

I'm not sure. Could you check the order using the order id and see what that tells you?

Of course I add a log statement on every pong reply, and of course it stopped disconnecting.

It could be that the 408 is a rate limit, but timing out a request is a very weird way to tell somebody theyre being rate limited. I can only guess 🙂
