i think i was going for different ways to say the same thing.
something like
"listing a no at an ask of 42c"
i think i was making sure listing* no @ an ask of 42c was equivalent to selling.

I'm having trouble with equivalency of asks/bids, yes/nos
a 58c yes bid is equivalent to:
1. buying yes at 58c
2. selling no at 42c
3. no ask at 42c
4. counterparty sells yes to me at 58c
5. counterparty buys no at 42c?

when it comes to purchasing a share of "yes", are these 2 ways how the order gets filled?
1. I buy "yes" at 70c because someone else had a bid for "no" at 30c. my 70c yes bid gets matched to their 30c no bid?
2. I buy "yes" at 70c because someone sold me their "yes" share for 70c

not sure how to describe it. bid is at 57c, ask is at 58c. like a "line" at 57/58 kinda? no way my 55c bid is getting filled then. but now the bid moved to 50c and the ask to 51c, like a new line

is there ever any reason to cross the ask?
like the ask is at 70c and the bid is at 69c. i can set a resting order limit at 75c, but why would i ever do that?
