On the top right of the perps order form, check which account mode you're using. If you're using Manual mode, you need to transfer funds to each DEX to trade (you can do it by transferring the USDC to spot, then go to any HIP-3 market, e.g. for xyz https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade/xyz:XYZ100, then click transfer to perps). If you're using Unified mode and see a 0 balance when trying to trade on another DEX like xyz, it means you don't meet the transfer margin requirement. You need to close some existing cross validator perps positions to free up your balance.
