I love the product, because I love the pairs, however I don't trade them here, I have no choice but to carry on trading that part of my system with a regular broker. There's a massive opportunity for hyperliquid here as there's many system traders like myself who would execute everything on hyperliquid. It's just a bit of a shame, they should be shouting from the rooftops and running promotions everywhere about these pairs to get more takers. Clearly what they are currently doing isn't working.

I'm going to tighten up my universe screening process, it's just really disappointing that nobody seems to care about it, it's a really poor look for the platform as a whole having these dead pairs on there, and it's also a poor look if they just remove them rather than introducing liquidity as a fix. There's many hip3 pairs that could introduce much needed diversifciation and there's so many opportunities to develop profitable strategies in these markets.

Does anybody know why the volume on the xyz pairs is so terrible? I thought this was supposed to be some kind of syndicated service offered in multiple venues, yet on some of the pairs you may see one trade every 15 minutes for a few dollars. I'm asking in here because I trade via the API, I run my own proxy server and cache everything to avoid hammering the exchange. I make my bots wait until I have the candle open before serving them a closed candle but if there's no trades then everything is in limbo for that pair. Basically, a lot of these pairs are untradable.

Because of all the uncertainty, this is going to be retail opportunity, no institutional pairs trading shops are going to sit there and manual trade, it will be weeks before their algos come online.

There is going to be massive divergenes as they struggle to keep SPCX/USDC in line with the real SPCX. The opportunity is trading the hyperliquid synthetic against SPCX in a broker account. Basically pairs trading.
