Something wierd has happened I appear to have World Cup positions in my Polymarket account that I never bought (or paid for). They just appeared? Is this just a visual glitch or some rewards thing? Can’t see proof of it on polygonscan either…

Yes easy no

Nah it has to be no. Market should have closed at the moment of end of May31st (at which point no info was present) Anything after that point has to bearing on the market, regardless if it confirms previous actions.

Yeahhh same here for no. And I agree they did sell, but I believe market rules force it to be NO (simply because they took too long to announce the sale)

Yes, but we’re arguing a technicality here. The market was meant to close end of 31st. At that point, we had no proof of sale, therefore it should resolve to NO. After the fact we found out that they did indeed sell. But because we did not know this at the time of the market resolution date, we cannot resolve to YES. This is the reverse argument to the “too early” resolution. If someone proposes too early, it won’t be accepted, even if it ends up being correct. This is similar in the sense that NO stands because it was valid at market resolution date, regardless of any additional information discovered afterward

That’s not enough… we don’t know what they do on coinbase. You could say it’s obvious now, but there is no PROOF on-chain that it was sold. In chain proof of selling would be a swap transaction, where the in and out is clear. A transfer to coinbase does not prove sale

Blockchain only shows transfer to coinbase. No proof of actual sale on-chain

From what I believe is that we can see they were transferred to coinbase. No actual on-chain evidence of a sale
