A) It flickers when a user is not using that section anymore with information from previous trade = visually annoying. B) it’s odd to me that someone would be placing a limit order at or near current market price and not expect it to potentially be filled right away. Safety and protections = always cool, Trading 101 on the main screen = not so cool.

This is annoying whatever it is. Never seen this before. It flickers on off on screen. If people can't figure out how limit orders work perhaps they shouldn't be trading with real money. Please turn off.
