If that is the case, then HL is irresponsibly listing perp assets knowing there is a high likely of people getting destroyed off shit like this. The average trader doesn’t expect a perp listing on HL of a shitcoin to inorganically nuke over 50% nowhere else but on this platform. This is such a small amount of volume in relativity to the broader ecosystem, why is the team eroding trust with traders by listing things like this? If such an easy risk exists for an asset with minimal listings/MC as this, then why are they not just providing spot trading instead?
