Fix 1: Queuing tiebreak edge case
When multiple orders arrive at the exact same price and time, the system needs a tiebreak rule to decide which gets matched first. The bug was in an edge case where that tiebreak logic produced inconsistent or wrong ordering — e.g., order A might jump ahead of order B unfairly.
Fix 2: Cancellation consistency edge cases
When a cancel request races with a match (both happening nearly simultaneously), the system could end up in an inconsistent state — e.g., an order gets partially matched and marked cancelled, or a cancel is acknowledged but the order still fills. This fix ensures the cancel/match sequence is handled atomically and predictably.
