hey betaclone - i would consider adding logic to make sure the original 90c is legit rather than trying to react quickly when you find out it is not. e.g. has volume traded at that level?

yes, I retract. I am sure none of the series exams and cftc rules support my Office Space style idea of being a jerk

you can do the silent shadow ban. build a bot at Kalshi that just responds with current inside bid/offer on individual legs with only size shown that can be taken immidiately. when there is an abuser they only ever get responses from the bot. build it so it takes them eons to figure out they've been boxed ( or botted ) out of the real flow

really?! wow, i guess dudes like me - barely able to code ( which I assume is necessary to respond with a quote ) and error prone

Why would you create so many custom combos? Are you able to generate yield against public event hedge legs? I don't want you to give up any edge, just trying to understand

Suggestion: a "campaign-promise tracker" series. Take a politician's headline promise, tie it to an independent real-time index, and let the market price whether they're delivering. Run each at daily/weekly/monthly horizons for recurring volume and a news hook on every release. Examples: - Trump "lower inflation" -> Truflation (you already run CPI markets on it). - Bass "affordable housing" -> Zillow Observed Rent Index, LA. Resolution stays objective because it settles to a named third-party index, not a subjective "did they keep their word" call. Real-time indices also settle faster than BLS/Fed data and dodge "the numbers are rigged" complaints. Bonus: each market is a public scoreboard you can invite the politician to help define, which is earned media either way. Worth launching first on promises already trending positive, so it builds credibility before it gets adversarial. In my dream world Kalshi could make the world a better place by creating the expectation that future political races will include not just promises, but descriptions of how they will be measured.

Looking at the api changes it smells like someone from CME or Citadel or other big firm came in and said "this is, like, totally how we do it at big boy exchanges". probably better for all, but also means all markets are going to get swept by dudes that have IT staff to manage racks collacated with Kalshi and communicating via FIX with soon-to-be order types we are not privy to.

Collin, I hear you. Trolling through a bunch of code now to see where I use No markets specifically. We need a market on Kalshi for the lower bound on the money I am going to lose missing a change I need to make in an autotrader. I would give 90% > 5k
