but i’m submitting quotes and not getting accepted so you are saying you get punished even if the requestor doesn’t accept? i’m providing a bid

Yikes. That is confusing. I thought it was only about performance.

These seem like a better use of bans than market makers IMO

Also each one of these RFQ requests results in n responses from market makers. So it seems like one user spamming RFQ creation has a bigger impact than a user spamming quotes At the same time I understand it is important to create the best marketplace available with users like this

we temporarily limited both for stability reasons. should be back to normal after tonight's release. there were only a handful of makers whose quote requests were limited, and the quote acceptance rates were <5 per 10000 (sometimes <1 per 10000) while sending like 10s of millions of quotes.

nothing more annoying than these makers who have no idea what they re doing and never accept while sending millions of fake quotes, finally some action was taken

Is this something we can track through Kalshi? I don’t think I was anywhere near that low from my own data but if you guys are seeing something else I’d love to know how I can keep my account in good graces

well this wasn't evaluated in a vacuum... if other makers are getting accepted significantly more frequently, then that's a data point for us. in any case this will go back to normal with tonights release

I’m sure there’s some caution to be too transparent because then spam bots can attack strategically within those limits but any info on how to avoid this is the future would be greatly appreciated
