Same issue here. This POLY_1271 is confusing as hell. Please devs write a solid end-to-end example, or give us back signature_type 1.

Thanks for your reply, but the python function in the example is obviously nonfunctional: it has an undefined variable (w3), and it also suspiciously doesn't need the privateKeyToAccount...
