I don't know how much anyone dished out on this but if it doesn't end up going your way without real evidence, just hmu if you need someone to talk to, I've also lost more than I'd like to admit in sports 😅

That's it, I hope you win but I'd also pay to see conclusive evidence that wasn't exclusively accessible beyond sports venues we're familiar with 😅

Well I guess they can resolve it to whatever, I'm just curious as to whether it was a tear shed definition issue or footage that never aired

I'm guessing a lot less people would have opted for a No resolution had the description been along the lines of it only resolving to yes if CR is visibly emotional, teary eyed, holding back tears 😅

It wouldn't be the cleanest way to resolve the market to yes, but the resolution might honestly just lean on a difference of interpretation of what constitutes visible tear shed. Upsetting, but it is what it is.

I feel like we'd be treading into insider trading if unaired video or unreleased photos after the match aired would have only been exclusively accessible to some while books were still open

Or the frame is entirely fabricated, I honestly don't know..

I also tried verifying this frame that someone posted earlier, and it just doesn't exist. The cable version just doesn't have this tear streak so it's either been altered or enhanced to show something that wasn't readily visible on the official stream "as aired"

I went through every frame from our cable stream (tsn, not exactly 4k but upscaled to 4k, closer to very high quality 1080p) and there just wasn't a single one with actual tear shed. My only guess is they got exclusive access to unreleased content by either the photographer or videographer that hovered around him before he left the field

So in essence implying that teary eyes and tear shed produce the same outcome?

I agree, what about photographs? I skimmed through tsn's content but there wasn't anything beyond what's being disputed. Perhaps other venues posted something we're unaware of?
