That is crazy. I simply don't understand how they can do that. As an intermediary, the PM should easily be able to prevent it. In fact, it shouldn't even be possible in the first place, but I guess the PM isn't as sophisticated as stock market brokers.

So let me get this straight. It was possible for someone to place a limit order (lets call it a contract) and when someone wanted to actually buy that contract, it suddenly disappeared? And placer of that fake contract got money for it anyway?

How to interpret that open interest of a quarter of a milion? I thought it is in USD, so basicaly liquidity. But I am not expert on this or anything. 🤷♂️

Interactive brokers started their own prediction markets. Including climate. So bigger competition => better services at Polymarket.

There seems to be some issue with trading. I made my trades, went back a few minutes later and all trades were gone in the sense I do not see my positions in coresponding brackets. I Use desktop PC with Brave browser.

Or maybe not even that now (again). Since reintroduction of "D+2" there were all American markets live by now (600 UTC). But not today. No June 18 for me, at least. Anyone else?

Does anyone know if PM does some trades at the beginning (after the market for that day has been created) on (at least some) brackets, so they kind of kickstart trading on those brackets and it appears there are people trading it?
