oh i understand now. this happens so much on the 5 min markets. it’s definitely a polymarket problem then and not something removing rewards will fix in the long run. rewards just make it profitable for them but without the these markets wont exist. this will be a tricky one to solve actually.

I think the scammers are targeting all markets with rewards. If you think about their technique, they dont need to know anything about fair price in order to scam the rewards for them.

That is crazy. I simply don't understand how they can do that. As an intermediary, the PM should easily be able to prevent it. In fact, it shouldn't even be possible in the first place, but I guess the PM isn't as sophisticated as stock market brokers.

In the last 3 days, it has fallen dramatically: for 2 days in a row I got 60% of my estimated rewards, and yesterday only 20% ($40 instead of the $180 calculated on my side)!
It’s possible the issue is on my side, though it’s very unlikely since I haven’t changed anything in my bot over the last week, and the tons of fills I got in markets with high reward rates are real.
Others have also mentioned here that reward rates are extremely inflated (sth like “earning only 6% of the pool while having the only quotes in the reward band”). And it has nothing to do with ghost orders (unless ghost orders are now also shadow orders invisible in the orderbook).

you need to take down LP from all markets untill the exploiters are handled, theyre stealing most of the rewards now. Just disable LP rewards and give it back when you have a solution to the problem. Its not like the ghost orders are providing liquidity anyway.

Not all of them are exploiters. I guess some just have... let's call them fill-minimizing strategies. But there are some obvious exploiters (some with $50–$100 in volume, not necessarily $0). The worst thing is that:
- Polymarket team likely has no idea how to fight them
- dashboard only shows the obvious ones. If I were an exploiter, I'd hide behind fake volume and split across multiple accounts (though there's no need to hide etm - the team does nothing anyway)
