it has a negative funding rate for hours (-214% apr now). I wonder why a big index like that one is so abandoned.

hi! any reason why kr200 has so little open interest? (just 447k) https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade/xyz:KR200

ok, thx! 🙂

hi! is it possible to compound funding fees in the same position without closing it? i.e. short earns funding fees, use part of them to buy more shorts.

hi! what do you think of the Overdose vault? it's generating a >600% apr with a Max Drawdown of 50.47%. "Low-risk trading focused on Bitcoin and Ethereum, with occasional very small positions in select altcoins."

that's not true. The HyperEVM execution (the part that actually processes EVM transactions, maintains state, and participates in consensus) runs inside Hyperliquid’s closed-source validator binary (the HyperCore/HyperEVM client that validators run).

Let me put it this way: all major blockchains are 100% open source, except this one.

The point is that the fact that the blockchain is not "owned" gives confidence to investors

And I almost forgot: the BNB node software is 100% open source; investors would value the fact that the blockchain doesn't belong to a single company. For example, if Binance were to shut down today, the community could easily fork the chain.

I think they are already very capable to build an order book, don't see any problem with that

just a functional order book, working at normal speeds like other blockchains.

afaik order book operations are highly optimized for very fast performance, so I understand they keep it closed. What I suggest is they publish also a suboptimal, basic, non-optimized version, that is slower but works. If something happened, community could continue using the slower version and use it as a basis for developing faster versions over time.

Hi! This project is epic, my only concern is the closed-source node software. Are there any plans to release the code someday, or at least release a slower, open-source node, so that if something happens to the company, the community can continue managing the blockchain?
