PM is the first exchange in history (at least to the best of my knowledge) actually paying just for quoting. And some pretty significant bucks, not just cents.

Id rather have fix in a few weeks, which would be the last antighost pullers patch, than having the patch on Monday just for it be 2nd patch in a longer series of patches.

I think the scammers are targeting all markets with rewards. If you think about their technique, they dont need to know anything about fair price in order to scam the rewards for them.

Definitelly fixable, I think the only question is how much time it will take, and maybe how many iterations of patch releases. Regular exchanges have also had similar problems in history and it was always somehow mitigated. Why only weather markets is a good question actually. I think it comes down to them still starting up and having not as high liquidity as others, meaning one scamming ghost puller operations disrupts the trading for regular traders the fastest. But that is only me quessing...

Sorry, I am back only now. To your first question I do know the architecture weakspot they are abusing, but not the specific technique. There is a research paper on arxiv about it, look it up. I dont want to link, its swarming with scammers here on discord.

They have paused rewards, untill they fix the issue with ghost pullers, who are scamming the reward system. Check market updates thread and also if you read through yesterdays msgs. The scammers basically corrupted trading for everybody, you would see 1000 shares in OB and only a tiny fraction would be actualy takeable with market order.

Which is their unique signature of their scam idea. They put their probe which gets filles, which gives them fast info the pricetime is being eaten (along with info of the sizing) and they are fast enough to cancel.

Although that would be a fun project, team up on the scammers on some market, manipulate the price for them to be filled on BS mispriced small sizings.

They have a small sizing probe positioned infront of the other orders. So you can always at least hit that, once they get this signal they adjust their prices. You could in theory try to manipulate the price they are offering, but on second thought its not really worth since of the probes small sizings. Maybe some algo.

Depends on your model. Tbh you can also try to punish them, since you are guaranted they have no clue about the fair price.

Its not so straightfarward, as than they could try to somewhat GTO around it, but still, it would be a significant scambusiness problem they would not be able to fully go around. And this would help not only for the weathermarkets.

The ghost scammers stole money from me about a week ago. So acting fast is really relative, but sure, turning them off before they are sure they can continue with the scammers banned is a good approach.

yes, web UI memory leak. What helps if you periodically close the tabs and open them fresh. The memory leak is restricted to the tab only. Once you open a new one, you have some time before it builds up again.
