I think it's pretty obvious the quoters shouldn't have been tangled up in this mess and that the primary target rightfully was the RFQ request spammers that never take anything.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the 400s started getting thrown during what was probably a massively busy period for quoters, Friday afternoon during a USA World Cup game.

Fill rate and volume on certain odds ranges was quite good. Certainly can make updates to ignore prices/markets that weren't competitive in and that would help with fill rate and limits. Just needed some time and transparency to sort it out. Speaking strictly from a quoter/maker perspective, did not do any RFQ creation which I believe is the intended target of this countermeasure -- people who constantly scan for broken/glitched RFQs and seldom take.

Thanks for the update. 429 usually a rate limit thing right? Figure something like that usually clears up in a few minutes/hours, not days. Will keep trying throughout the week.

That is what I am thinking as well. So it would be nice if that was the case to be given the opportunity to tweak the code that may be viewed as malignant.

The RFQ system is insanely high volume at peak times, no getting around it. There are thousands of requests per second at times. If there is a desired fill rate of some kind that they are measuring it sure would be nice to know what to target instead of putting people in shadow-timeout.

Yeah, only responding to RFQs/Combos, not doing anything that would be construed as spamming. Decent volume as well, 5+ million filled in the last couple weeks.
