If they really decided to forfeit after Map 1, yes, then it makes sense at 50/50. But in reality, they tried to get as much time as possible to play the rest of the match, especially after winning the 1st map - so they forfeited Map 2 and then still had time to play Map 3.

On the stream VOD you can clearly see that after Map 1, the players automatically were on server for Map 2 but did not ready up in time as 5. Then they had another like 10 minutes to connect on Map 3 but failed to do so as well.

Clutchain had technical issues for one of the players - they forfeited Map 2 first and after that Map 3 as they failed to connect on Map 3 also.
