afaik tranfering funds and creating subaccounts has to be through the api though

depends on what you are planning to do I think isolating strategies is good in case something blows up

If you are running say 3 unique strategies and A and B are operating as normal but C has a crazy bug that drains the account or accumulates a position that is not intended and is not caught by other guards its good to have the funds isolated
