yea definitely filtering but my fill rate is horrible this morning so i’m not sure if i’m getting throttled in terms of being shown to users somehow even though i think the price should be competitive or it’s just time of day people looking and not clicking thanks though

is there any disincentive or penalty for submitting a lot of quotes if your accept rate is low? or really the only backoff is if you dont confirm accepts?

most people just dont quote those people anyways. they are annoying and add nothing to the system. its nice to just have them banned.

Quote acceptance is not guaranteed to come through on the same shard the rfq was created on or is it?

but i’m submitting quotes and not getting accepted so you are saying you get punished even if the requestor doesn’t accept? i’m providing a bid

getting piles of these 409 quote_timed_out errors but my time between the kalshi ws receive and my quote is on average like 50ms so i dont see how it could be stale

if its an rfq system to compress that makes complete sense. i was just very confused originally like i dont want to offer cashouts always but i get it now

someone has to accept it/quote it, its not guaranteed from the original maker.

I don't understand how the collateral gets allocated in a cash out. If I sell a combo for 0.06 where the underlyings were 0.2, 0.2 because they are more likely to happen together, if 1 leg cashes, then the other leg is going to be worth quite a lot/close because of the correlation even if its not home yet. When the taker wants to compress/cash out, how does this get priced? From the current market?

well sometimes its like you can price things as a whole but not necesarrily break the components. im more confused how the compress feature works in this context. like i dont understand how polymarket prices it? the current market ask?

are you saying for combos the maker has to quote the underlyings individually in the context of the overall price? the way i read it you submit a quote for the entire thing

thanks. i do understand RFQ but i dont fully understand how you can allocate the equity/shares appropriately when something isnt a direct multiple of its underlying prices. if you quote something thats correlated, the whole may be worth more or less than the sum of its parts.

so am i understanding as a maker for combos you are effectively always offering a "cashout" option because the combo can be compressed into its component parts?

so finding market tickers is sort of non deterministic just have to query the series and iterate through them?

hey is there a standard format for market tickers in terms of which team comes first? it doesnt seem to be alphaebetical or based on home/away
