Sit, still no answer! Why is it so hard to find the "required duration" rule? Any ideas on who can help with it?

Well, my tests show positions start accruing rewards after 30–40s. Also, my liquidity rewards have fallen dramatically over the last few days (my calculation vs. what I got) - I suspect they silently increased the required duration. Both of these are totally disrespectful towards liquidity providers: - a 30–40s required duration (in reality, >1m since they use random per-minute snapshots) means most of their rewards targeted at empty books are fake: you'll likely get a fill faster than your first rewards - changing the rules without prior (and post) notice is even more disrespectful because all LPs reprice often (and in this setup, repricing kills rewards) Anyway, I might be wrong. That's why I'm trying to get an answer here for the third day in a row

Attempt N2. Anyone know what the "required duration" is for orders to score for liquidity rewards? It's mentioned here: https://docs.polymarket.com/api-reference/trade/get-order-scoring-status, but I couldn't find any explanation in the docs (e.g. https://docs.polymarket.com/market-makers/liquidity-rewards).

Already asked yesterday, no answer. Any magic word I should add to my question?

Not all of them are exploiters. I guess some just have... let's call them fill-minimizing strategies. But there are some obvious exploiters (some with $50–$100 in volume, not necessarily $0). The worst thing is that: - Polymarket team likely has no idea how to fight them - dashboard only shows the obvious ones. If I were an exploiter, I'd hide behind fake volume and split across multiple accounts (though there's no need to hide etm - the team does nothing anyway)

The order-scoring docs (https://docs.polymarket.com/api-reference/trade/get-order-scoring-status) say an order must be "live for the required duration" to earn rewards, but I can't find the actual number anywhere incl. https://docs.polymarket.com/market-makers/liquidity-rewards — what's the required duration in seconds, and does cancel/replace reset it?

One of my guesses is Polymarket silently added or changed the minimum required duration rule. It’s not mentioned in the reward rules, but you can find it in https://docs.polymarket.com/api-reference/trade/get-order-scoring-status. Have no idea what the current minimum duration is, but it’s super weird I can’t find it anywhere in the reward-related docs, since repricing is an important part of quoting, and in this setup repricing can kill liquidity rewards.

Btw yesterday Polymarket paid another few thousand to ghost order providers.

Anyone here calculating estimated rewards independently (based on your position in the orderbook)? I’ve been doing it for weeks, and I usually get 95%+ accuracy (estimated vs. received). In the last 3 days, it has fallen dramatically: for 2 days in a row I got 60% of my estimated rewards, and yesterday only 20% ($40 instead of the $180 calculated on my side)! It’s possible the issue is on my side, though it’s very unlikely since I haven’t changed anything in my bot over the last week, and the tons of fills I got in markets with high reward rates are real. Others have also mentioned here that reward rates are extremely inflated (sth like “earning only 6% of the pool while having the only quotes in the reward band”). And it has nothing to do with ghost orders (unless ghost orders are now also shadow orders invisible in the orderbook). Anyone else have the same issue?

You are giving >$7K/day to obvious abusers (likely ghost orders providers). For half of your daily losses I can prepare a system for you to detect those guys BEFORE you send rewards to fake order providers. Can be done in 1-2 days

New day, new incredibly good rewards farmers (most accounts were created in Jul 2026)! $7k in rewards were farmed yesterday with < $1k in volume.

kindly also check with the team if the rewards calculation was correct in the last 2 days. there're 3+ messages here saying the rewards were 30% lower than expected. and (at least in my case) it has nothing to do with ghost orders, because my model takes all orders into account (including ghosts)

I usually got mine with 1-2 tx. And never in 5 tx with same amounts. But i guess it depends

yes but why sending rewards in 10+ transactions? i usualle got rewards in 1-2 transactions, not tens

another thing i've found are accounts who got rewards in batches (often with 0 fills), don't know if it's a bug but looks weird

all comes from polymarket api, random checks showed it matches what i see on polymarket ux, though if you find a bug feel free to dm

Can you elaborate pls? I've also noticed an issue with rewards (my calculations vs. what I got - 60% vs. the usual 95%+), thought maybe the issue is on my side (not related to ghost orders - my math takes all orders from the orderbook into account, including ghosts)

No, I'm talking about liquidity rewards provided by Polymarket (not maker rebates). They're supposed to be accrued for every minute spent with an active limit order in the orderbook, based on random per-minute snapshots.

Another bunch of accounts are getting hundreds in daily liquidity rewards with no fills: 1. https://polymarket.com/@jambonmogettes?tab=activity, $855 rewards, 0 fills 2. https://polymarket.com/@istaroth?tab=activity, $750 rewards, 0 fills 3. https://polymarket.com/@mtmspoller?tab=activity, $600 rewards, 0 fills 4. https://polymarket.com/@fdbsuiafbdisapbfdasffas?tab=activity, $1,100 rewards, $60 volume 5. https://polymarket.com/@ghfisagirwqpgqawfdsapiuhfsdiauhfudsaisadf, $1,000 rewards, $80 volume And there are many more accounts like these. Looks very suspicious. Can the team confirm it’s not a bug?

I’m calculating liquidity rewards to be earned on my side, and accuracy has always been 90%+. In the last 2 days, it’s been <60%. Has anyone had the same problem? Is it possible to somehow verify liquidity rewards with Polymarket, or is it always “trust me bro”?

Why this account got liquidity rewards in 8 batches? https://polymarket.com/@federical?tab=activity $949 in rewards with 0 fills, amazing results btw. Same with this account https://polymarket.com/@iuy65?tab=activity and some others. Can anyone from the team confirm it's not the bug?
